A special experience is getting to know our animals up close<\/strong>: the house cat Mina, Shetland pony Fanny, curious chickens, nimble running ducks, and our loving watchdog Rocky \u2013 a Bernese Mountain Dog with a big heart.<\/p>\n

Our alpine pasture is located in Jagdhaus in the Defereggen Valley<\/strong>, in the middle of the Hohe Tauern Nature Park, the largest nature park in the Alps. <\/p>\n

In this almost untouched landscape, there is a small alpine village with historic stone houses and a church. The communal alpine pasture, also called “Little Tibet<\/strong>” due to its architecture, is considered the oldest alpine pasture in Austria<\/strong>. It is managed by us from mid-June to early October. <\/p>\n

Blooming alpine roses, rare alpine flowers, marmots, and the nearby moor lake \u201cPfauenauge\u201d make this place something very special.<\/p>\n
