Luggishof is situated in a beautiful, quiet location at the entrance to Kematen in the municipality of Sand in Taufers, South Tyrol, and is one of the oldest farms in the village.
We are here for you all year round, ensuring that boredom is never an option.
Enjoy relaxing days off amidst the stunning mountains of the Zillertal Alps and recharge your energy in the fresh mountain air. Whether you are a hiker, skier, or arriving with your family, you will find everything you need to feel at home. Tradition and warmth are at the heart of our hospitality.

In the barbecue garden, the sun invites you to relax and enjoy cozy moments together. For children, there is a playground with table tennis, a trampoline, swing, slide, sandbox, and soccer net. Meanwhile, parents can recline on a deck chair and enjoy a good book.
Surrounded by the Zillertal Alps, we are the ideal starting point for hiking and mountain tours. The Skiworld Ahrntal can be reached comfortably within minutes using the free ski bus.
A special experience is getting to know our animals up close: the house cat Mina, Shetland pony Fanny, curious chickens, nimble running ducks, and our loving watchdog Rocky – a Bernese Mountain Dog with a big heart.

It features a bright living kitchen with a sofa bed, a double bedroom, bathroom, and balcony.

Apartment 2 (approx. 38 m²) is located in the new building of our annex and offers comfortable space for 2–4 people.
It consists of a living kitchen, a double bedroom, an additional bedroom with a bed and sofa bed, and a bathroom.
This apartment also has a balcony.

Our apartments are lovingly furnished and include a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, kettle, dish towels), hairdryer, washing machine, towels, ironing facilities, bed linen, and optional fresh bread every day. You also enjoy free Wi-Fi – making your stay completely relaxing and comfortable.
HIKING OR BIKING to
jagdhaus alm
Our alpine pasture is located in Jagdhaus in the Defereggen Valley, in the middle of the Hohe Tauern Nature Park, the largest nature park in the Alps.
In this almost untouched landscape, there is a small alpine village with historic stone houses and a church. The communal alpine pasture, also called “Little Tibet” due to its architecture, is considered the oldest alpine pasture in Austria. It is managed by us from mid-June to early October.
Blooming alpine roses, rare alpine flowers, marmots, and the nearby moor lake “Pfauenauge” make this place something very special.

- or Antholz – Staller Saddle – Oberhaus parking lot at St. Jakob in the Defereggen Valley

To confirm a booking, we kindly ask for a deposit of 30%. The remaining amount can be paid in advance by bank transfer or on-site in cash.
Free cancellation is possible up to 4 weeks before arrival.
